publications that utilize significant color, and page
counts. Our 4 double-width Lith units and 2 four-color
satellite units can produce up to 144 total pages including
32 pages of process color and 48 pages of 2-color. Page
counts utilizing more than 32 pages of 4-color or 144
pages can still be produced efficiently in multiple
signatures and combined in our finishing area.
Also, in an effort to continually improve efficiency and turn-around for our customers, Webb Communications has recently added online stitching and trimming at press speeds.
All 4-color reproduction at Webb is printed heatset, resulting in a cleaner sheet and sharper images than standard non-heat or "cold set" printing presses.
Our journeymen/pressmen are skilled craftsmen who offer years of experience and a dedication to quality beyond standards set by the industry.
Our press was designed with flexibility in mind also. Webb Communications is able to produce in a variety of configurations and on a variety of paper stocks, including mixed web products. Standard paper stock that we print on include 22.5-pound directory, 30-pound standard newsprints, hi brite newsprints and heavier non-coated offset sheets up to 70-pounds. We are capable of producing high quantities quickly with press speeds of up to 40,000 per hour or 80,000 per hour double out.
