Webb has continually updated its capabilities with both
technology and equipment to offer incredibly fast and
accurate sorting and labeling with capabilities of
completing the mailing at press speeds while reducing

Webb's Computerized Mailing Services:

With our Pentium-based information systems running on a local area network we have access to the industry's leading postal software, PostalSoft. Our state-of-the-art computer system has the capacity to efficiently process hundreds of thousands of records in a matter of minutes. Frequent updates by PostalSoft ensures that this software is always up-to-date which assures our customers that they will get the highest level of presort and the absolute lowest postage costs for their mailings.

Merge/purge

Merging together of multiple mailing lists and elimination of any duplicates prior to mailing. Can also be used to remove duplicates within a single list.

Address correction

This upgrades the quality of your mailing list by correcting zip codes, street names and city spellings as well as verifying street numbers and state abbreviations. This ensures the highest percentage of deliverable pieces in your mailing.

CASS certification

Assignment of carrier routes and nine-digit zips as well as the delivery point barcodes necessary for the lowest possible postage rates.

Presorting to the finest level

PAVE certification means this software meets the rigid standards put forth by the U.S. Postal Service for the accurate sortation and highest level of qualification of postage discounts no matter what the class of mailing.

Impact printing on continuous forms

Virtually any label format can be accommodated from 1-up to 5-up Cheshire or self-stick label stock as well as customized forms. Delivery point barcodes are available on all forms.

Postage statements and documentation

All of the required postage statements and reports needed to enter your mailing into the postal system are provided directly to postal authorities. We can mail your piece under our permit or assist you in filing the paperwork for your own permit.

List maintenance

Let us maintain your list between mailings. Just send us any changes ( on tape, floppy disk, hard copy, e-mail, FTP or from the Internet ) prior to your mail date, and we will apply those changes for you. You are assured of the most up-to-date information in your mailing.

Magnetic media conversions

Transferring data from floppy disk to magnetic tape, magnetic tape to floppy disk, disk to disk or tape to tape, as well as conversion from various data formats to standard dBASE, ASCII or spreadsheet formats. Customer conversion is also available. Many of our competitors come to us with their difficult jobs.

ADDITIONAL MAILING SERVICES

Our experienced mailing staff has the expertise to efficiently process your mailing, entering your product directly into the mail system from our plant-load facility. Some of the services we provide are listed below:

Inserting

Placing supplements or advertised inserts into a host mail piece.

Labeling

Applying Cheshire or Avery labels.

Inkjetting

Webb will inkjet address information directly onto mail pieces. Performed at high speed, over 30,000 mail pieces per hour can be addressed, sorted and placed in the mailstream.

Polybagging

Individual copies sealed in plastic either along or with a renewal notice or promotional piece inserted with the publication or host mail piece, effectively mailing two pieces for little more than the cost of mailing one.

Palletizing

Whenever possible, mailings of sufficient weight and volume are placed on postal pallets to decrease the labor involved in handling the mail. In many instances this facilitates the movement of mail through the postal system. Palletizing also expedites the processing of the mail in our facility, allowing mailings to be entered into the system more quickly.

Priority entry

We analyze mailings prior to final processing to allow the mail to be separated geographically by established truck routes. Working with the Postal Service allows us to enter mail into the distribution network for greater control of mailings throughout the mail system.
